AI video is expensive to run, so free video plans are the thinnest of any AI category. Most give you a one-time pool of credits or watermarked, draft-quality clips. That's still enough to learn the tools and make a few short pieces.
Two big names are missing on purpose. OpenAI ended the Sora app in April 2026, and Google now keeps Gemini's video generation behind its paid AI plans. Pika's free plan currently includes zero monthly credits.
